Today, the 1XV welcomed Panmure to the KGV. With a crowd of farmers in for lunch and then more KRFC supporters joining down on the sidelines, the boys had great support.
Kinross came straight out the gates with a try from Lewis Macpherson but it was swiftly followed by a converted Panmure try. A speedy Garry Tolson (Kingdom Housing Association) on the wing went in for the next Kinross score before 20 minutes. Panmure scored another converted try (while down to 14 men) but Kinross struck back with a score from Graham Kilby, converted by Lewis Macpherson. A missed penalty kick from Panmure rounded out the 1st half.
HT 17 - 14
The 2nd half started as the 1st, with a score from KRFC. Phil Lamb (FLX Telecom Ltd) went over the line for the BP try, converted by Lewis Macpherson. Conner Love then went over for our 5th try, converted this time by Stuart Hunter. Our final try came from John McMurdo before 60 minutes. A yellow card just before the last 10 minutes for Gavin Hay was capitalised on by Panmure for their final converted points of the afternoon.
