Hillfoots 35 - 34 Kinross
A loss from a close away match today.
We started strong with 3 tries in the first 10 minutes from Adam Mellis, Elliot Firth and Findlay Ratcliffe with the first try being converted by John McMurdo. Hillfoots came back with a converted try swiftly followed by a second try from Elliot Firth, converted once again by John McMurdo.
Following the first yellow card of the game, we capitalised on the extra man with a try from John McMurdo which he then converted. A yellow card for Graham Kilby brought us to equal numbers and a Hillfoots converted try brought us to 14-31 at half time.
The second half is not much to talk about with some very strong subs from Hillfoots changing the game. John McMurdo took a penalty kick and brought us to 21-34 at 68 minutes. 2 converted tries from Hillfoots followed, finishing the game 35-34.
5 tries and a 1 point difference give us 2 points and we remain at 4th in the league.
Hillfoots played very well and we wish them the best for the rest of their season.
We will be back next weekend on the 18th of November taking on Carnoustie at home.
